Laurent Baijot – CEO & Founder

Master’s in physical education · Researcher in exercise physiology

After 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, where he co-developed the first CE-certified medical software device at MSD, Laurent founded Formyfit in 2015, followed by Moov Insights in 2024.
A former elite middle-distance athlete and six-time Ironman finisher, he is now the architect behind Moov For Fit and serves as a board member of the non-profit For My Fit Club.
He regularly speaks on the topic of sedentary behaviour and is involved in several university research projects focused on physical activity motivation.

Sohaib Laraba – CTO

PhD in Engineering · AI, Computer Vision & Biomechanics

An electronics engineer (ENP Algiers), graduate of Grenoble INP, and PhD in Engineering Sciences (UMons), Sohaib is currently a postdoctoral researcher.
He leads the development of Moov Insights’ technologies, with a focus on computer vision, motion capture, and data analysis applied to health.

Professor Stéphane Carlier – Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Professor of Cardiology at UMons - Head of Cardiology Department at HELORA

Former researcher at Erasmus University (Rotterdam) and Columbia University (New York), he is now Head of the Cardiology Department at CHU Helora and a professor at UMons.
A recognised specialist in intravascular imaging, he oversees the medical and scientific direction of Moov Insights.
His work focuses on exercise, cardiac dynamics, and the integration of technology into clinical practice.

Dr Étienne Lejeune – Head of Orthopaedics, Shoulder Specialist, and Co-founder of WASI

Shoulder specialist, trainer, and pioneer in musculoskeletal prevention.

Head of the Orthopaedics Department, shoulder specialist, former clinical trainer for UCL and ULg, Vice-President of BELSS, and active member of several scientific societies (SFA, sports medicine associations). Étienne is also the co-founder of the Wallonia Surgery Institute (WASI).
He plays a key role in validating Moov’s assessment protocols, contributing his expertise to musculoskeletal prevention.

Dr Olivier Lequenne – Physician, Engineer & Entrepreneur

Emergency physician, former hospital medical director, healthtech startup founder, and builder of next-gen clinics.

With dual expertise in medicine and technology, Olivier now dedicates his career to driving innovative healthcare projects.
He is also co-director of Cempre, a prevention-focused clinic currently under development in Namur (set to open in 2026), alongside Laurent Baijot and Étienne Lejeune.
